Laser classes will be taught twice a
month and class size will be limited. The charges for the laser training is
listed on the curriculum page. Pre-requisite
vocational backgrounds (i.e.: physician, nursing, aesthetician, electrologist,
etc) are recommended on some of the courses. There are no
pre-requisites to take the 100-Hour
Comprehensive Course.
Due to strict attendance policies in
place to protect the interests of other students and Rocky Mountain Laser
College a minimum deposit of $500.00 is necessary for each student to reserve
their placement in the class.
The $500 deposit will be applied to the total
course tuition and is used for the the pre-test, didactic and terminology on-line course
prior to attending the class. The remaining
tuition, however, is due and payable prior to actual attendance in the course.
Be sure to read our refund policy below.
Note:
If the
pre-test, didactic and terminology on-line course
has already been assigned and received by the student and he/she decides not to attend the college, they will
forfeit their $500 deposit. If a student registers again within 6-months of
cancellation their$500 may be applied to the new tuition fee.
Tuition Payment Options
Rocky Mountain Laser College
(RMLC) realizes that not every prospective student is
able to fully pay his or her tuition prior to actual attendance either due to time or financial constraints. Therefore, an
optional payment schedule
may be approved by Lorenzo Kunze,
M.E., in which the student may attend his or her desired, scheduled class, provided that an class opening exists.
The required $500.00 deposit is included in the
tuition cost. The remaining tuition will be due and payable
within 10 days of scheduled training date and/or prior to issuance of the graduation
certificate.
Policies
All payments are due upon enrollment, unless subject to amendments, or financial arrangements, items, fees and tuition subject to cost change.
Lorenzo Kunze, Sherry Hevelone and the Department of Higher Education must approve any changes.
The student agrees, if accepted, to make a reasonable effort to complete the course in compliance with the rules and regulations of the college and abide by the same.
Should the student terminate enrollment, the school's policy for determining the effective date of termination is as follows: The date on which the college receives notice of the student's intention to discontinue the training program, or the date on which the student violates published college policy which provides termination.
A full refund of tuition and fees is given in the event that the school discontinues a course or program of education during a period of time within which a student could have reasonably completed the same. This provision shall not apply in the event that the school ceases operation.
Rocky Mountain Laser College
uses a method of determining the official termination dates of the student which complies with the state board's established criteria including:
(a) The date on which the school receives notice of the student's intention to discontinue the training program; or
(b) The date upon which the student violates published school policy, which provides for termination.
(c) The last date of recorded
attendance.
Except for retention of a cancellation charge
and/or the taking of the pre-requisite on-line course, refunds will not exceed
five hundred dollars or twenty-five percent of the contract price, whichever is less.
The policy for cancellation, settlement, and refund of tuition and fees provides for at least the following:
(a) For a student terminating his or her training within the first ten percent of his or her program, the student shall be entitled to a refund of ninety percent of the contract price of the program exclusive of books, tools, supplies,
pre-test, didactic and terminology on-line courses.
(e) A student who has completed seventy-five percent of his or her program and has entered the final twenty-five percent shall not be entitled to any refund and shall be obligated for the full price of the program, which constitutes the maximum obligation.
The college may suspend any student for immoral or improper conduct. The college reserves the right to
be the sole judge of such conduct which may be detrimental to the college and the students, employees and guests. Monies retained by the college will be in accordance with the refund policies as stated above.
Upon satisfactory completion of the course of training by the student, and upon fulfillment of the terms of this agreement, the
college will issue a diploma/certificate of completion specific to the
course of study for which the student enrolled and graduated.
In accordance with the rules and regulations of the college,
graduates may be given the opportunity for placement assistance or receive benefits of any and all
placement services maintained by the college, at the discretion of the college.
